Elder & Co Leader

We value mature, active, loyal members who donate frequently and help recruit other active members.

ELDER

Elder is generally earned by donating at least 1000 troops, participating in 3 or more Clan Wars, and MOST IMPORTANTLY understanding  how we run our clan. While being loyal, and a good donator arerequirements, and being social helps, Elders in our clan serve a function, so we need to know you can be trusted to make good decisions on prospective members, and handle any issues diplomatically if leaders aren't around.

Accepting/Rejecting Requests to Join

First, if it's not a player that you have been talking to in global, and you know one of the leaders is around, wait a few minutes for the leaders to make a decision. Anyone who has joined another clan within a few minutes of requesting is probably a hopper, so we wouldn't want them anyway.

Second, it is very important that you understand and follow our GUIDELINES when deciding to accept/reject.

Finally, when accepting a new member, welcome them, give them the link to the blog and tell them to check it out when they get a chance, ask if they have any questions, etc. We want to come off as friendly, but we also want to make sure new members understand what is expected of them.

Promotions, Demotions, and Kicking

This is generally handled by the leader/coleaders ONLY. Promotions can always wait until a leader is around, and demotions and kicking should only be done without a leader's consent if an elder is not following guidelines and has been warned repeatedly, or a new player turns out to be a leech or a hopper (is still clan shopping in global or requests several times without donating when other donations are outstanding and has received warnings), or a total douchebag (asks to start a war immediately, asks for coleader, spams, is offending or being hostile to other members, or starts telling members/leaders how to run the clan).

CO-LEADER

Co-leader will only be given out if we feel another leader is needed, and only then to mature, loyal players whose judgement we feel we can trust. There are no specific requirements other than that, but generally, you will need to have been in the clan for at least a month, and be a regularly active player that donates around 1000 troops per season. We already have numerous longtime members that we would consider for co-leader, so if you're really interested in becoming one, you'll have to really stand out. The best way to do this is not just to be active and donate a lot, but to help us recruit, help with the blog, etc.
